BFOU(i&c) 250V Offshore Instrumentation Cable

Application:

NEK 606 standard Offshore instrumentation cables (also communication, control or signal cables) are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems. BFOU(i&c) 250V type are individual and collective screened, fire resistant, halogen-free and Mud resistant.

Construction Diagram:

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm² in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Mica glass tape and Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Twisting,individual		Color coded cores twisted pairs/triples which are screened by copper backed polyester
		tape with copper drain wire.Each pair/triple is wrapped with polyester tape over screen
4.Cabling,collective		Individual screened pairs are laid up and collectivelly screened by copper backed
		polyester tape with a tinned copper drain wire.
5.Inner covering		Halogen-free flame retardant compound
6.Braid armour		Tinned copper wire braid in accordance with IEC 60092-350.
7.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF2 or Mud.
