BU(i&c) 250V Offshore Communication Cable

Application:

Offshore instrument cables (also communication, control or signal cables) are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. Type BU(i&c) 250V are individual and collective screened, fire resistant and halogen-free. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems.

Construction Diagram:

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm2 in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Mica glass tape and Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Twisting individual		Color coded cores twisted pairs/triples which are screened by copper backed polyester
		tape with copper drain wire.Each pair/triple is wrapped with polyester tape over screen.
4.Cabling collective		Individual screened pairs are laid up and collectively screened by copper backed
		polyester tape with a tinned copper drain wire.
5.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF2 .
