S11 RU(i) 250V Offshore Instrument Cable

Application:

Offshore instrument cables (also communication, control or signal cables) are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. S11 RU(i) 250 type are individual screened, flame retardant and halogen-free. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems.

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm2 in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Screen		Color coded cores twisted pairs/triples which are screened by copper backed polyester tape with copper drain wire.
		Each pair/triple is wrapped with polyester tape over screen.
4.Cabling		Cores are laid up together and then wrapped by polyester tape.
5.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF2 .
