Application:

Offshore instrument cables are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. S12 RU(c)250V type are collective screened, flame retardant and halogen-free. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems.

Construction Diagram:

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm2 in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Collective screen		Cores twisted pairs/triples are layed up collectively and screened by
		copper or aluminum backed polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire.
4.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF2 .
