Application:

Offshore communication cables (also instrumentation, control or signal cable) are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. The type S2/S6 RFOU(c) 250v are collective screened, flame retardant, halogen-free and mud resistant. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems.

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm2 in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Cabling		Color coded cores twisted pairs/triples.Pairs/triples are layed up collectively
		screened by copper backed polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire.
4.Inner covering		Halogen-free flame retardant compound
5.Braid armour		Tinned copper wire braid in accordance with IEC 60092-350.
6.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF Mud.
