S3/S7 BFOU(i)250V Offshore Instrumentation Cable

Application:

Offshore instrumentation cables are used for electrical signal transmission on Drilling ships & drilling platforms (Jack up, Semi-submersible), Production Platforms (TLP, Semi-submersible, SPAR, Fixed platforms) and FPSO/FSO. These cables are vital in offshore platforms and ships, in order to control and drive sensors, valves, measurements devices, alarm systems. S3/S7 BFOU(i)250V Type are individually screened, fire resistant, halogen-free and mud resistant.

1.Conductor		Circular tinned stranded copper (0.75)(1.5)or(2.5)mm2 in accordance with IEC 60228.
2.Insulation		Mica glass tape and Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
3.Twisting with screen		Color coded cores twisted pairs/triples which are screened by copper backed polyester
		tape with copper drain wire.Each pair/triples is wrapped with polyester tape over screen.
4.Cabling		Cores are laid up together and then wrapped by polyester tape
5.Inner covering		Halogen-free flame retardant compound
6.Braid armour		Tinned copper wire braid in accordance with IEC 60092-350.
7.Outer sheath		Halogen-free thermoset compound in accordance with type SHF Mud.
